The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium located in London, UK, designed by architect Populous, one of the world’s most prolific stadium designers, heralds a new era for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. The stadium dominates the high street and is visible from the White Hart Lane Overground Station and for a good stretch of the approaching train journey.

“Tottenham! Tottenham! No one can stop them” goes their famous song. The same can be said about Tottenham Football Club Chairman Daniel Levy, whose vision to deliver an unrivaled fan experience paved the way for the stadium’s world-leading concept designs that focus on unlocking the latent potential in typically underutilised spaces within a stadium, creating a unique atmosphere.

With a capacity of 62,062 seats the new stadium is the biggest club stadium in London and, by incorporating a fully retractable pitch, the first in the world to be custom built to stage football and NFL games.

Top quality acoustics, both on and off the pitch, is one of the center pieces in the visitor atmosphere. fade® Acousitc Ceilings along with its UK and Ireland distributor, CMS Danskin, was involved early in the design process and provided guidance and technical proposals. WRR UK, our UK certified installer, installed the fade® acoustic plaster system on the walls and ceilings in the stadium entrances, the museum and shops, RAL 5020 tinted fade® acoustic plaster in the media cafés. As the architect wanted the acoustic solution to be “heard but not seen” they opted for our ultra smooth fade® Acoustic – Plus+ acoustic plaster tinted to match the painted plasterboard.
